Smart Toilet System is a maintenance free technology that consists of People Density Counter
and Ammonia Sensor. Data collected with analytics provide predictive cleaning and inventory usage.

"In land-scarce Singapore where water conservation is crucial, the launch of these newly-developed sensors can prevent water wastage,” explains Cedric Hoon, co-founder of CST.
The system tracks how heavily restrooms are used, and has a sensor to measure the odour levels of things like ammonia, which is found in urine, and hydrogen sulphide, which is found in faeces.
RESEARCH engineers from the Agency for Science and Technology (A*Star) have invented and trialled a toilet-monitoring system that can signal when toilets need to be cleaned.
